Submission of applications via the application form

Purpose, legal basis and legitimate interest:

On our application portal, you can submit your application online to Mitsui Rail Capital Europe both for specific positions and on a speculative basis. We will process the data you provide solely for the purpose of assessing your professional suitability and contacting you.

The processing is carried out for the purpose of establishing an employment relationship within the scope of implementing pre-contractual measures, which are carried out upon request, Section 26 BDSG.

Recipients of the data:

Within the company, those offices that need your data to fulfil contractual, legal and supervisory obligations as well as to safeguard legitimate interests are granted access to your data. We use the personnel management software from hcm4all for our application process, with the help of which we can manage the application process and job advertisements. We have entered into an order processing agreement with the service provider for this purpose.

Third country transfers:

Processing does not take place outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA).

Storage period:

In the event that your application is rejected, the data will be deleted six months after notification of the decision.

If employment results, application documents will be stored for at least the period of employment with Mitsui Rail Capital Europe.

Provision of personal data is not mandatory or required:

The provision of personal data is not required by law or contract. However, it is not possible to process the application without providing this information.

Collection of general information when visiting our website

Nature and purpose of processing:

When you access our website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise submit information, information of a general nature is automatically collected.
